Hello! I'm working on a World Wide Web page, with absolutely no images,
just ASCII art. (aren't you proud?) And, so far, I have this for the
first screen:
(ignore <pre> and </pre> ... they just tell HTML to leave it "as-is")

The Figlet text was done using fonts from Scarecrow's site.
Hey, if you hurry, you'll be in time for the opening. :-)

Just a side note:
If you put ASCII art on the Web in an HTML file, make sure to translate
"special" characters to entity references so Web browsers don't choke.
Here's a simple Perl program that will procees an ASCII file from
standard input and output the HTML version of the file to
standard output for inclusion into an HTML document:
#! /usr/bin/perl
while (<>) {
s/\&/\&/g;
s/</\</g;
s/>/\>/g;
print STDOUT;
}
# end
--ewh
