Take a look

Dear All:
I have been working on a bull terrier (like Spuds McKenzie) picture to
use as my sig.  (By the way my very first try at ASCII pics)  Take a
look and let me know what you think.  I like the first one best.  I did
want to do a side view but they all came out looking more like
chihuahuas that bull terriers.  8)  I think if I do a side view it would
turn out to be too big a picture for a signature.  The gradual slope of
the "roman nose" is what makes it hard.

Although I would also like to try to make the dog look black.  But THAT I
suppose is too hard in such a small area?

Wouldn't do so if i were you/.....dont think you would still be able to see
that it's a dog..

something myself instead of just lurking here. Is this anything like

As usual, it looked slightly better in Notepad. :(  I've made its nose a
tiny bit longer and more concave (though perhaps just not enough, I
think it could use some more length and curve), and then it looked more
like a donkey, so I fooled around with the ear a bit.

Well it was black (at least on this screen).

Better empty. Definitely easier to read.


P.S. am I the only one with an screen with black background and white
letters on it? Is this configuration heading for dinosaur status?

White? Naw, that's pretty modern. It's funny to think that only about six
months ago I still mostly used a monitor in green-on-black monochrome
mode. It actually can be quite a bit nicer on the eyes especially if the
screen isn't too good in the first place, and that was definitely one
crappy spare monitor. But it did have a certain feeling of nostalgy.
