IRISH VIDEO RECORDER
It records all the programmes you don't want to see, and plays them
back whilst you're out.

AMERICAN VIDEO RECORDER Now it looks more like MY VCR--endlessly flashing 12:00, 12:00, 12:00.... No matter how many times my electricity goes out or the kids pull the plug, I have to find the instruction book to set the time (after several days of the obnoxious flash). Even then, it STILL aint easy! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::/######:::/####:::/#####:::/#####:: Todd Hale :| ######::/##, ##:| ##, ##:| ##, ##: :|/_/##_/:| ##| ##:| ##| ##:| ##| ##: tha...@novell.com :::| ##:::| ##| ##:| ##| ##:| ##| ##: hal...@bert.cs.byu.edu :::| ##:::| ####::| #####::| #####:: :::|/_/::::\___/:::|/___/:::|/____/:: Unofficially speaking, of course. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

What you need is one of these simple little remote controllers.
Now...to reset your time is real easy !
All you do is :
Switch on the TV to the video channel.
Press the bottom RH corner button to get the program display on screen.
Select the Language you want to use ( probably ENGLISH )
Use the UP arrow buttons on the remote to go to the very top line
and then set the year, month, date and time in hours and minutes
using the 24 hour time format.
When all is correct press the bottom RH corner button again to
activate the time clock. You are now in business until the next time
someone pulls the plug.
Now if you want to know how to use the LCD CHANNEL PROGRAM DISPLAY
on the Remote - I'll just have to go away and check the Manual, I
shouldn't be long......
Time Out
NO CARRIER

CONSIDER ADDING 's AT THE END OF THE FIRST WORD. Would be quite descriptive of your national caricature, eh, character. - DR. ROCKET going ballistic on everyone who deserves it
I had some Irish material once, but it got kilt. -Daniel (another pass through...) *This .sig left intentionally blank*
