I'm an Amiga sysop and have made tons of ANSI animations.  There really 
hasn't been a program released specifically for viewing ansi animations 
(if they're black and white, "type" will work in your Shell), otherwise 
what I do to check them out is to do one of two things: 1. Load your 
terminal program, set it for ANSI (I use JRComm), and just ASCII send the 
thing with your modem off.  or 2. Load it into an ANSI editor (ProANSI 
comes to mind) and then play it with that.  
 
.vt animations I usually play with "cat" on my unix machine..
