ok, i forgot to type the 's.' sorry. But I intentionally used '*' instead
of 'zh' or something, because 'zh' isn't an accurate description of the
sound. Plus '*' looks a little like the russian letter (with this font,
anyway).

Although I guess I was first introduced to ascii art 30 or 40 years when
I saw my first Christmas tree outlined with nothing but the letter x, my
first real look at it began about a week ago, and when I sought
permission to use some of Joan Stark's pieces on my web page, I knew I
was hooked. Having said all that, I wanted to share my first attempt.
It's definitely a first attempt, but one of which I'm proud and will be
using on one of my genealogy pages. On a Mac, it seems to look best in
Courier 9.

Some guy:

Also, if someone can help, I would like a picture of a rose if anyone
has one. Much thanks.

More 'hmm' than 'hi' :) Anyway about the rose(s): I would post some here myself but I'm using Outlook Express and have no idea whether it would send ASCII properly, so why not check out a few of the posts on Google Groups, if you'd typed 'ASCII Rose' on either Google Groups or Google you'd have found a great deal of them: http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?q=ascii%20rose&num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8& safe=off&sa=N&tab=wg Hope this helps, Jake

I can be tweaked to send ASCII properly. Details are in the alt.ascii-art FAQ. Theese days however I have replaced Outlook Express with Mozilla Thunderbird , which dont need any tweaking and is in all aspects a better program. Kind Regards - CeeJay
