Question: FTPing FIGLET

Question: FTPing FIGLET

rec.arts.ascii · 2 messages · 25 Dec 1994 - 7 Jan 1995
Here's my question... When I logged into the FTP site what has Figlet, I
immediately went after it. However, when I tried to get
figlet-msdos.zip.uu, it said "no such file or directory." Then I
gophered for it and found that it was a directory. When I tried to CD to
it on the FTP site, though, it didn't work, it said it wasn't a
directory. Any ideas as to what's going on?

BTW, I did successfully get the file.

Nope, but you were evidently not using our "official" site --
ftp.nicoh.com:pub/figlet

God bless,
