Funny, I am currently working on a nice networked game that is based on
a card game with hexagonal tiles. The board for it looks like this:

                _____ _____ .---.

Well, this is what it should look like in the play, nothing of the code
is really done yet :-)

I won't say the name of the game - if you know it you know the name, if
you don't the name won't tell you anything about it >;-)

 Have fun!

well, here there are bees of different types and yellow jackets,
and hornets, and wasps, and dirt dobbers, and many other types of
stinging and biting bugs and bugs that just look LIKE stinging
or biting bugs,so picking a wasp from a bee is just an every
day casual thing.

Obascii:
Hornet or dirt dobber?
Go ahead and fuck with it and find out.

It will be a real ascii game :-P

Nope. Ascii is just a bunch of weird characters stuck together. The pics
only exist in our minds ;-)

A jpeg image is also just a bunch of weird coloured dots stuck together.

I have a horrible feeling she was being sarcastic. Although, with JPEG
compression, it should be said it is a _different_ bunch of weird coloured dots
stuck together.

Our minds are just a bunch of neurons stuck together. Thoughts don't
exist.

Obascii: Your mind right now

My usual argument is save it in both and use whichever is smallest. Ignores the
whole quality issue, but even this is too complicated for some of them.

I always get a Bad Feeling when people talk about how they only use
jpeg. The question "should one use gif or jpeg?" does not have One True
Answer. The answer is that which format to choose depends on the
picture...

It didn't wrap when I read it but when I replied (deja automatically
wraps lines above 72 characters, and I use deja because when I post to
my local news server it doesn't spread to the rest of usenet ...)

Cool ! :-)

Looking forward to see it ...

gif (or png, which doesn't use patented LWZ [1]) for lossless graphics
(e.g., where there is text and wide areas with only one color in it),
and jpg for photos where it doesn't matter if the next point has the
same color. An easy decision :-)

 Have fun!
