Where did you pick the name Tlszann from? Does it mean anything?

It looks Hungarian, especially the 'sz' in the middle (though that could
also be Polish... but that accents you're now using make that less
likely) -- is it?

I tried to send you email, to the address in your posts (taliszanna at
usask.ca) but it bounced. Apologies for posting this in the newsgroup.

Cheers,
Philip

I did not pick it, I created it in honour of my Hungarian
ancestors -- especially my grandfather, (may he rest in peace). It is also
the first part of a spiritual name that I have had for about 7 years
now: Tálíszanná WhiteCrow... Because Tálíszanná is a name that I created,
it is 99.99999% improbable that you will meet another, (unless she were
named after me), but i'd prefer that there no others. I like being the
only one and it is special to me because of the connection to my spiritual
life.

	There for good reason...

Hm! That's odd! I wonder why it did that...

Why were you curious about the name?

Because I'm interested in languages generally... so I wondered whether
your name was a Hungarian word. I like picking up a word here and a word
there from different languages.

Szijja(sp?),
Philip

PS: Beszeled magyarul?

Perhaps you would enjoy http://www.angelfire.com/realm/anglodutch too. It's
a website i've set up once, but i don't maintain it anymore.

Yeah, what he said :-)

Ah, I see... Well, then I guess that you could consider the name
to be Hungarian-Canadian as I am a Hungarian by ancestry and not a
Hungarian by citizenship.

Igen, but not too much, I'm afraid. I was given the culture but
not a lot of the language. Whatever I know is what I've eitehr taught
myself or I learned through those that I did Hungarian folkdance with.
