Request for Amiga image->ASCII

Does anyone out there know of a program for the Amiga that will convert IFF or GIF files to ASCII? David O'Leary --- ole...@io.com --- \/\/ /\ \/ <- _\~
I hope someone can answer this:
I tried to scan a picture into a Machintosh and saved it as Amiga's IFF
format. When I downloaded it into my Amiga, the picture remains. I could
see it's image but all it's colors turn crazy. REALLY crazy. I can't
adjust it and it became inversed, colors all turned hay-wired.
How come? Can someone help?
