Request: Help with Greek characters?

Hello, everyone! I'm fairly new around here, and I'm just starting to 
try my hand at some art of my own, instead of merely enjoying yours.

So here's my request: can anyone help me shrink the following Greek 
phrase down a bit (maybe 3 or 4 lines?) so I can include it in a new sig? 
My first sig (below) is rather basic, obviously, so I'd like to try 
something "different." It's from John 1:1 ("In the beginning was the Word.")

Also, I haven't been able to find any Greek character sets among the 
collections of fonts on ftp or gopher sites (not in high demand, 
obviously!). Does anyone know of any out there?

 Here's a suggestion (in monotonic system):

 I know the "epsilon" isn't that good, but I couldn't figure out a better
2-line-epsilon :(

Actually, I think what you did is pretty good.  I wonder if the essential
bits couldbn't be had with a combination of available and created letters?
                     \             \
        en arXn nv o /\ogos, kai o /\ogos nv pros ton ...

oops, not so easy after all!
