It is worth noting that more/less net-wide standards for some of these
have evolved. In particular, "REQUEST" and "REPOST" are very standard
across the net, so making them "official" here is a good idea. If there
are any other such standards which differ from the suggestions above (I
don't know of any), I think they should be used.

I'm not sure how worthwhile it is to have distinct names for the various
sorts of static b/w art (LINE, GIF). Ideally, IMHO, articles with no
subject tag would have 80-column static b/w art, while all others would
be tagged. UseNet being what it is, however, that is far too much to hope
for. :-( In any case, the LINE, GIF tags don't bother me much.
