Gifscii and MS-#%&-DOS

Oh yeah, me again, unable to get help...
Why, why doesn't gifscii compile succesfully in Ms-Dos???
Now, I got this new 2.2 version, tried with Borland C++ 3.1 and 3.0.
OK, same problems as with previous version. First the program gets
the size of the pic all wrong and gives "not enuff memory" error.
Problem disabled as you remove all the other systems platform things
from the beginning. OK, it gets the size right, starts to convert
the pic, and stucks!!!
If somebody has solved these mysterious problems, puhleeze
explain how you did it, or, send me the executable!
Thanx in advance!
