   It's not ASCII art, but we do use uuencoding.  To uuencode a file on a 
typical Unix based system, go to a prompt and type:

uuencode filename filename > filename
   |        |        |     |    |______ The name of the file that will be
   |        |        |     |            written to your disk so as to not    
   |        |        |     |            overwrite the original file.
   |        |        |     |
   |        |        |     |_____ Tells the system to write the resulting
   |        |        |            uuencoded file to the name following it.
   |        |        |
   |        |        |____ The name to be put on the 'begin' line of the
   |        |              resulting uuencoded file.  This is the name that
   |        |              will be given to the file when it is uudecoded.
   |        |
   |        |____ The name of the file you want to be uuencoded.
   |
   |____ The uuencode command.
