REQ: ascii 'playing card' art

I've been searching through a few websites, looking for ascii renditions of playing cards (jack, queen, king, ace, &tc.) or even tarot cards (which would be completely cool), but am having a bit of a time finding out how to find them. So I've appealed here, hoping someone can point me in the right direction as to find such art. I run a free text-based game online (a MUD) and was hoping to use these, if allowed, with credits given. [Is this sort of thing acceptable?] Thanks in advance; I've looked over some of the postings on this group, and am glad to see that I'm not the only one who enjoys 'text-based things'. :-) (<-that's as good as I can do!) Regards, Di To reply directly to me via email: .not ought not be applied to my address.

There are some nice things here : http://www.ascii-art.de/ascii/c/cards.txt I just had a try (except the diamond which comes from the page above) : _ ,'`. _ _ /\ _(_)_ (_,._) ( `' ) < > (_)+(_) /\ `.,' \/ | _ ,db. _(M)_ (MMMM) Stef (M)+(M) db | ______________________ | _ _ _ _ | |10 ( `' ) ( `' ) | | `.,' _ _ `.,' | | ( `' ) | | _ _ `.,' _ _ | | ( `' ) ( `' ) | | `.,' `.,' | | | | _ _ _ _ | | ( `' ) ( `' ) | | `.,' _ _ `.,' | | ( `' ) | | _ _ `.,' _ _ | | ( `' ) ( `' ) | | `.,' `.,' | | 10| |______________________| ______________________ | _ _ | |10 _(_)_ _(_)_ | | (_)+(_) _ (_)+(_) | | | _(_)_ | | | _ (_)+(_) _ | | _(_)_ | _(_)_ | | (_)+(_) (_)+(_) | | | | | | _ _ | | _(_)_ _(_)_ | | (_)+(_) _ (_)+(_) | | | _(_)_ | | | _ (_)+(_) _ | | _(_)_ | _(_)_ | | (_)+(_) (_)+(_) | | | | 10| |______________________| Making Jacks, Queens and Kings would be more difficult ... > I run > a free text-based game online (a MUD) and was hoping to use these, if > allowed, with credits given. [Is this sort of thing acceptable?] I think people are always welcome to use ascii (with credit) for non commercial purpose. Please tell us when your game's finished ! Cheers, Stef Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
