alignement

Hello,

i've been struglling with the beginner syndrom I guess :
how can send text mail in ascii wihtout having my drawings not aligned
when they arrive ? any solution for text only and not html mail.
Or any references where I can get this answers FAQ or so???

Hi xc<yxc<y....this is the way that I do it:

1. do your ascii-art drawing...put a smal line above the start of the
   drawing and a small line below the end of the drawing..ie:  ---
2. save it to a file
3. give it a name...and remember the name!
4. do your text mail up to where you wish to pop in your ascii-art
5. fetch the drawing from the file (I do all my stuff in Pine, so just
   have to do a ^r [cntl r] and tell files what name I want and the
   drawing pops into the next space)
6. then continue with any text still needed...and post.

This is all a very simply process on my old text-only computer.   a
sample: (now doing a ^r to get pic)
