Request: Gif to ASCII for IBM

I just saw someone post gifscii for the Mac, and I was wondering if
there is a program for IBM compatibles which does the same thing...
anyone??

Laziness pays off now. Gifscii has a version for the DOS clones. And I think ascgif does also. BTW, there are a couple of new things in the /pub/Scarecrow/Misc folder here at ftp.wwa.com. Got some email from bru...@GAS.UUG.Arizona.EDU (Raymond E Brunner), telling me he'd put some goodies in the incoming folder here, and saying, "Just thought you might want to check out BMP2TXT & TXTINVRT ..." Ray says that BMP2TXT "is kinda like GifScii..kinda ..." and TXTINVRT "inverts black and white (for pictures already converted." He say that BMP2TXT is for DOS compatibles, and that users need at least EGA. Considering the filenames, I'd guess both are for DOS. So I put them in /pub/Scarecrow/Misc. Perhaps somebody could try them out and give some examples.
