I know that this group is not strictly moderated, but seeing as it is now near enough 50% irrelevant spam crap and 50% requests, doesn't it seem like a good idea? -- ,-----.,-. ,-.,-.,-. ,-. ,---------------------------------------------. | ,-. || | `-'| || |,' ,' |Philip Kaulfuss | | `-' || `---.,-.| || ' ,' |phi...@boehme.demon.co.uk | | ,---'| ,-. || || || . `. |PhilK in UnderNet #AmigaCafe | | | | | | || || || |`. `. |Graphics artist for the game 'Urban Massacre'| `-' `-' `-'`-'`-'`-' `-' `---------------------------------------------'

If you want to help make alt.ascii-art a better place, then the thing to do is complain to the postmaster of anyone posting an off-topic article to alt.ascii-art. (Definitely DO NOT SPAM by posting an insulting reply to the off-topic article--that only adds to the noise.) -- | ___ __ _ _ _ ___O___ ( / \ o / ( / / // // o \/|\/ / / __, _ ,_, __/ / / / __, // // , ( // (/\_/ (_/(_/ |/ (_(_/_ (_/_/ (_/(_(/_(/_/(_/_)_ \\ http://www.surfplaza.com/ | mailto:wal...@surfplaza.com

There is already a moderated Ascii Art newsgroup created for just this purpose: rec.arts.ascii The moderator changed from Bob Allison to Don Bertino in July and the group is now slow, with very few postings. Here in alt.ascii-art it is the silly season as newcomers join up. You must hope some new "artists" will appear with new offers in pictures. Meanwhile post some pictures of yours to address the balance. Bye,

Don't really have much time to make new ascii art these days, as you'll see in my sig I'm busy on a game. =) -- ,-----.,-. ,-.,-.,-. ,-. ,---------------------------------------------. | ,-. || | `-'| || |,' ,' |Philip Kaulfuss | | `-' || `---.,-.| || ' ,' |phi...@boehme.demon.co.uk | | ,---'| ,-. || || || . `. |PhilK in UnderNet #AmigaCafe | | | | | | || || || |`. `. |Graphics artist for the game 'Urban Massacre'| `-' `-' `-'`-'`-'`-' `-' `---------------------------------------------'
