Question: Which domain name should I use? Summary:

   I will be setting up a domain name before my automation guru sets up 
the request automation.  Matt Messina emailed me and told me that he did 
a quick check and found out allison.com was taken.

   Don't know why I assumed it wouldn't be taken, but that made me stop 
and think of a new name.  I thought, well, how about allison.org, it is 
not taken.  Matt mentioned boba.com, which is also not taken.

   Which of these two do you like?  Email me instead of posting as this 
is not very on-topic.  I'll tell the results to the groups.  Thanks.

as another possibility.

Well, my vote goes for scarecrow.com.  It's distinctive and anyone on the 
ascii groups will automatically recognize it.  scarecrow.com!

Listen to David.. You can't use ".com" unless it is a commercial 
provider.  a .net ending will work hhowever.  scarecrow.net would work.  
Is Bob changing his address to whatever he wants or something?

   My experts tell me that nobody will care if I use .com, even though I'm 
not making a business of ASCII art.

   I am choosing a domain name.  This is a help because I will be doing 
things like automated requests, a digest, etc. that will benefit from 
having control over varios email addresses.

   In other words, the requests will be sent to 'req...@boba.com', the 
digest sub would go to 'dig...@boba.com' or 'sub...@digest.boba.com', 
and eventually the rec.arts.ascii article submission address will be 
changed to 'art...@boba.com'.
