Could someone send me a ascii-picture of a rose???
Thanx in advance :-)
Hello everyone, I'm just a new person here. My name's Jill Genio (btw I'm 11 yrs old, does that matter?? I hope not), and I really like ascii art. Are there any special rules or anything here? If there are please tell me. In answer to Seckinger wrote: > > Could someone send me a ascii-picture of a rose??? > Thanx in advance :-) > Here is a cool rose sig (a little big)... Hmmm... somehow, there's just no way to capture his darkness with ASCII, but those were still very much useful. I was really hoping for a humungous one of each, but this should suffice. Thanks! Hi! I love ASCII art... I have always loved it. And now I found a really cool pic on the net. It was a real image, but just created out of HTML text with different colors. Now, are there any programs that can convert images to HTML? With colors and everything? Like... every pixel being one character? Thank You. -- Artificial Intelligence: Making computers behave like they do in the movies This eMail is from Seb...@gmx.net

I read some FAQs... Okay, that link below is not useful to me as I am using Windows... :) Sorry. So, I want to create HTML art from images (all formats, because I can convert to all images formats) by using a Windows program. Ah... sorry, made a mistake. You understood something wrong. Yes, PNG is a format I can use. But when I wrote my last f'up, I thought that the PNG2HTML program was for Unix or Linux or something because I should download a .tar.gz... Now I know that there's also a windows version. Hi! I have seen some of you work and think it's really good, but now I want to make my own Ascii art. Where should I start? What tutorials are there? Anyone got time to teach me? Thanks in advance

When it does come back up, she has some good references and links on it. I've got some of the FAQ's cached, if you want me to zip them up and email them to you. To peruse other artists' work, go to www.google.com and search for "ascii art", or go to the ascii art webrings at http://r.webring.com/webring?ring=ascii&list or http://artcode.org/ascii/list.php . As for an editor, check out Markus Gebhart's www.jave.de for the -best- ascii art tool around! He also has references to Figlet fonts (at http://ianchai.50megs.com/figlet.html ), which are used to automatically transform typed letters to ascii art letters (useful for banners, lettering, etc.). Finally, when you find something that catches your fancy and ascii-fy it, post it here for the rest of us to enjoy!
