Not too long ago I had asked for some line art of Celtic Knotwork.  Due 
to the underwhelming response, I decided to knuckle down and make my 
own.  Here are some examples.

With the above, I tried filling in the holes to give it the "shaded" 
look.  Sorta worked.  :-/

This is a basic 6x4 knot.  With a little cut-n-pasting, you can string 
them together:

This is another 6x4 knot that I shaded in.  Strung together, you get:

This is the knot pattern that I decided for my .sig file, but I removed 
the shading.  I took the pattern:

and strung it together.  Note that I modified the right half to mirror

I didn't care for it, so I redid it, this time inverting the pattern so 
it was now upsidedown!
