looking for special ascii codes ...

im looking for the special ascii codes to make a ascii animation program.
i remember in some computers , ascii code 22 places the cursor in x,y
coordinates , where x & y are the 2 following ascii codes after code 22.
can you post more info about the special ascii codes?
