Does anyone have a location or access to a bunch of Anime ANSIs? I found
the Anime ANSI archive web site, but they're all converted to HTML. I can
easily snip the tags and search and replace the escape characters, but there
doesn't appear to be any real documentation as to what else to search and
replace so that the ANSIs will be reverted back to their normal state.

Perhaps I need to download all of the artpacks available and go through them
one by one? I guess I'll do that if necessary.

Thanks for your time.

Again, try to reply to the newsgroup and my email if possible and you have
time. Also, you may want to only reply to my email, I'm not sure how well
OffTopic ANSI questions are received here...

If you tell me exactly what kind of ANSIs you are searching for I can send
you some archives.

Why don't you ask the page author (Erik) for the original ANSIs or post a request
at the ANSI board ?

You can found the documentation for the applet format at:

if you want any of these i can send you on request

... besides the above ...

i have made a simple ANSI Anim using Meph's "ANSI.SYS Driver" Java Applet
for web-browsers and it works very well indeed!

the following link will reveal more info about the driver :-
