Sorry - not Ascii art (the � character, showing up on my system as a round dot
about half way up) is not valid ascii, nor is �. I'm not sure that � or ` are
either. Also, I'm not sure what this was meant to look like but it doesn't seem
to have worked, although I can't work out why - proportional font? You need a
font in which the lines below are all the same length:

 Yes:  the only proportional spacing that can be assumed to hold
 on all possible platforms is NO proportional spacing i.e. typewriter.
