Hello to all The Green Cart Magazine's viewers and artists who have helped
create, "The Green Cart Magazine"! You have turned it into a wonderful and
interactive adventure with the visual and written arts, interactive and
on-line.

The Green Cart Magazine has also been the foundation for a local webpage
creation  company, (Webworks Internet Specialties), and has allowed them
to create a job training and skills program for youth and college students
here in the Lower Mainland of B.C. Webworks has utilized the new job
opportunities opening up to youth via the leading-edge technology of the
Internet, The Green Cart Magazine has been the platform for
hands-on-training, allowing us to teach webpage creation by doing.
Webworks job training program has become very successfull, and is now
receiving govenment recognition, as well we have recently gained the
support of David Chalk, President of Doppler Computer Superstores. Doppler
has provided us with office space and use of several computers for the
students, artists, and volunteers - all learning digital publishing by
working on, The Green Cart Magazine.

Because, due to Webworks' recent merger with Internet Canada Corp., and
the innevitable request for domain transfer of  ---greencart.com--- to its
new home at WWW.ICAN.CA.  The Green Cart Magazine has had its account
frozen and locked out without warning, or due cause. Our attempts at
goodwill with Wimsey have been ignored, and as a result, the Green Cart's
domain has been locked off by Wimsey.   Why???  We are still trying to
figure that out ourselves!?!

As Wimsey is well aware of, until the "Internet" transfers Green Cart's
domain name over to Internet Canada, Wimsey has complete control over the
Green Cart's site. Wimsey has removed it from the World Wide Web --  they
are also exercising their power to collect and hold all my personal
e-mail, and my company's, and all other companies with e-mail and accounts
@greencart.com.

Webworks and Internet Canada have created the new domain of:
www.greencart.ican.ca -- this will be used until the rerouting of ---
greencart.com --- is safe in its new home at Internet Canada. It can take
months for domain transfers of this sort.

I hope to create some protection for all other website creation companies,
like mine,  against "Cyberspace Landlords" waving the almighty wand of
disconnectivity in an instant!

it is not nice to lie.

the reason your account was closed out at wimsey is because you owed close
to $3000 in access charges. (as i am not an employee of the isp in
question, i do not have the exact figures... )

and then you sold your magazine to someone. and instead of paying your
bill, you attempted to surreptitiously move your site, in the middle of
the night, to a new isp. and someone caught you. that is when wimsey
disconnected you.  anyone else would have done the same.

and now you are posting defamatory garbage all over the place. i find this
unconscionable.
