One more for the collection.
I have done the work to update the butterfly lising on the site to
include all of the newer butterflys but I haven't uploaded it yet
because I apparently don't have write access to the to my own dirs on
the server right now. I will try to get that fixed soon enough.

(f) - Pieridae (Usa) > Remembering a couple years back trudging around the woods we came upon what appeared to be several hunderd butterflies clinging to their roost waiting for wings to possibly dry, they had a white powder coating on them. Spent the rest of the day there just watching them slowly learning how to flutter and fly. Went back the next day most had already left to where ever they where headed to. For about 3 days a year parts of San Diego get covered in Monarch corpses. After you saw them they head off and die within a week. I would loved to have seen what you saw. I only get the other end. I also thought that they had short life span, three weeks at most. After doing reading I found they can life quite long time depending on what time of year they are born. Also found the migration fascinating.
