Since my process came up the other post here are a few notes:
Started with a picture which I traced.
The original version had the bikini top and a pair of shorts. Didn't
like the shorts idea so they went bye-bye befor I had even finished
the belt level seam, didn't like the top either so added more clothing
there. Decided that she needed a tail and some background to
re-balance the picture. Had to resize the breast tissue on the final
one since they looked too small in the rough-draft (the lower one)
after changing the top. Also decided to redo some of the hair since a
slightly shorter look seemed to match better with the stylizing I was
doing on the hair.
