Thanks. I second that. The new layout is very cartoony and I really like it. Also the amount of detail in so few lines is amazing .. it's so obvious that he's shoveling snow. As an unexpected sideeffect , the effects *nng* *sigh* etc .. are made bold in newsreaders that support this .. f.eks Mozilla. I use OE with OE-Quotefix that can also do this. It works out really well. Sidenote .. why couldn't there have been more snow in Sweden last weekend ? My family stayed in our house in the woods not long from Isaberg and went skiing there. The snow that was left was wet and heavy to ski in .. it even started raining. :( Oh well .. at least I got to ski ( my favourite sport - I've been skiing since i was a small child ) Kind Regards CeeJay

I like the layout as well. But I showed this to a friend of mine who
had previously only seen my ascii cartoons. They said that it took
them a while to realise that there where two frames per line and she
thought originally that it was to people.
so some form of devision between seens might be needed if you continue
this. Ie classic paper funnies style.

Addded a cloud to fill space. added "the bird" in the cloud to show
that even god couldn't care less about NB.
panel six has the indoor scene taking place in the panels and the
outside scene taking place outside the panels.
I need to stop playing nethack and start drawing more ascii.
Even though I have done almost nothing in a month I have had some
people in alt.os.linux.slackware find my page and in particular jack:

And 2361 called me "ASCII Boy" today right after someone else hoped on
line to say how much he liked my ascii. The timeing was more than a

I downloaded Lynx just to see how the new site layout worked out (turned out it didn't and I had to change it a bit), and it was really cool to see how different it looked. You're right , it does. It percieves the "|"'s as quotelines and try to clean and compress them. And my eyes are hurting and I have a headache. And lets not forget the number of automation scripts I have running on my system to save keystrokes. But instead of sayin "to quote myself" I usually use "Here is a Best Of Faux_Pseudo" or I include a message-id.
