Hi folks. I'm working on an archeology/history project for a virtual world named MicroMUSE. (You can telnet to it at guest.musenet.org and then login as guest, or you can visit the webpage at http://www.musenet.org if you want to read about it.) I would like to incorporate some ascii art into the project as well as written text. Unfortunately, I am a lousy ascii artist. Would anyone be interested in creating some pictures for the project? The main part of the project will be a "dig" in the Middle East, but I would like some "artifacts"from all over the world. My wish list is long, but I know I can't have it all. But if you have anything or would like to make anything.....well, I promise to credit the artists. The general screen size people work with is 80 characters across and 23 lines down. Strictly black and white pictures. Okay, my wish list: Egypt: King Tut's Death Mask Egyptian Sphinx Bust of Nefertiti The Eye of Re The Rosetta Stone Fossils Trilobites Saber Tooth Tiger Dinosaur Skeleton MesoAmerica Olmec Colossal Head Olmec Were-Jaguar Statue Quetzalcoatl Mayan Glyphs Mayan Calendar India Buddha Dancing Ganesha North America Kachina Dolls Navajo Blanket Dreamcatcher Totem poles Europe Etruscan/Greek/Roman Pottery or Statuary Celtic Lyre Of course, I welcome additional "artifacts"that you might have or want to make. Please label drawings with names that include the cultures out of which they come. If you're a history buff and want to send along additional information on whatever you've created, I would love to include it. Thanks in advance for any help.
