ASCII Art Converter !?!

The Tool I use to make ASCII-Graphics is really bad.
Do you know a tool, which makes ASCII-Images from a BMP, JPG, GIF [...]

On Unix, use pbmtoascii.

here's another one that I saw right here in this group...it does other
stuff as well as converting images to ASCII art

Also look for my posting about EXPORTING or converting ASCII art
into images elsewhere in this group (you need a graphics editor or Paint)
