Your Provider's newsserver (in case AOL should actually offer something
as exotic as that ;->) - you might also look at http://news.cis.dfn.de.

With crappy AOL, they don't tell you what they are.  The just connect ya and
that's it.  I once asked and was rudely yelled at saying they don't use those
servers.
