been doing a little catchup reading on this group and felt I
had to put something in. =^)
A friend writing the FAQ for the game Samurai Shodown II
asked me to draw a title for it. I came up with this.
dP. ____ __ _ _ _ _ ____ __ _
88 ~; | __| / | \/ | || | _ \ / | |
,ooooo888ooodbooo |__ |/ | | || | _ < / | |
Y88888888888P""" |____/_/|_|_||_|____|_| \_/_/|_|_|
"888P ____ ____ _ ____ _ _____ ____
, "8P_____d8b | __| _ \ | _ \ |_ _| __|
'b ,ooP""" Y88b, |__ | __/ | < | | | |__ |
88P ____ 8881 |____|_| |_|_|\_|_| |_| |____|
888 """""" 888
888b ~"Y8888888 Samurai Shodown II FAQ
Y888b ,888 <version> <date> <etc>
"Y8888888b"88P
_____,,,,,,,,,,,,,,______
ooo888P""""~~~~~~~~~~""""""Y88888
"Y88" ,do. ""Y888b. <blah_blah_blah>
~ ,d8888 "Y888b
88888P Y8881
"""" """
The Japanese title for the game is "Shin Samurai Spirits"
the character on the left is, you guessed it, "shin". More or less
means on the lines of "true" "pure" etc...
below is an alternate version of the title I did:
dP.
88 ~;
,ooooo888ooodbooo
Y88888888888P"""
"888P
, "8P_____d8b
'b ,ooP""" Y88b,
____ __ _ _ _ _ ____ __ 88P ____ 8881__ ____ _ ____ _ _____ ____
| __| / | \/ | || | _ \ / | |8 """""" 8| __| _ \ | _ \ |_ _| __|
|__ |/ | | || | _ < / | |8b ~"Y88888|__ | __/ | < | | | |__ |
|____/_/|_|_||_|____|_| \_/_/|_|_|88b ,8|____|_| |_|_|\_|_| |_| |____|
"Y8888888b"88P
_____,,,,,,,,,,,,,,______
ooo888P""""~~~~~~~~~~""""""Y88888
"Y88" ,do. ""Y888b.
~ ,d8888 "Y888b
88888P Y8881
"""" """

it here (sometime back) you can get a copy from fingering my account
