colourized ascii

We finally got an amiga browser that pretty much manages to deal
with colourised ascii. :-) Finally! So I've started to add colour to 
some of my stuff. BUT to allay any problems when I get enough to add 
coloured ascii to my web site, are there any things I should know before
I start? Any tips, hints on colourizing ascii?

Hi Hayley--  the only suggestion that I can give you is
the same piece of advice that Allen Mullen gave me...
(and you know that LOTS of his pics are colorized...
was he the first??)  And those words were:  if you
decide to change colors once you've coded, make
sure that you highlight the same exact area (spaces
included) to recolor-- otherwise you'll end up with lots
of wasted tags.. an HTML- mess.
That's it...  colorizing is easier than it looks-- it just
takes time... and what doesn't??
