Hi Bill! (I might just point out that Ireland got it's independence
from dot you kay a little later than you guys (1922)). :)

Here's a sparkeler but I got no idea what those things are that pop when
cars run over them. Unless of course you mean those white things that
look like a chocolate chip. But they pop when you throw them into the
street before the cars get to run over them. At any rate, here are a
couple for your indipendant celebration ,,,

I don't know what you're talking about, but I used to get those white
things that looked like paper wrapped around little crystals and twisted on
the end. They popped when I threw them at my brothers or the dog.

Michael--I seem to recall they also popped when I missed

Looks more like a unicorn with mange, really, but Steve is a decent
fellow and perhaps it's one of those unicorns-with-mange sparklers.

Oh yes, bang snaps. "Safe to pop in your hands". Some kids were
throwing them around at the fireworks display in Greenfield a few nights
ago. I couldn't really figure out the scare factor involved in this.
"OH GOD SOMETHING JUST WENT -POP- RIGHT NEAR ME! IT WAS ABOUT AS LOUD AS
A SODA CAN OPENING! I HOPE IT DIDN'T HURT ANYONE!" Those with Silly
String were being more obnoxious, really.
