hello everybody! i am new to the newsgroup, but not to ASCII art. below is a ascii art of the main character in Suikoden I for the Playstation (great RPG, but new Suikoden II is even better and im getting it 2day) Please view in a fixed-width font such as Monaco or Courier. I have to admit, this is not freehand. Aw, that sounds so sad! Maybe we were a little cruel in our sarcasm.
Don't be frustrated. Do it again and this time turn the WORD WRAP off
(or set it to maximum characters per line).
I don't know how to do that in Netscape, but I'm sure there are people
in this group who use it and can tell you how it's done.
I'd love to see your picture. Really I would.

The reason is that many people have found after trying to "correct" a few misaligned, wrapped and generally messed up posts that it's often useless to even try. Possible errors can be: 1. Picture was made for a proportional font 2. Picture contains weird characters 3. Tab damange 4. Some kind of wrapping damage 5. Some kind of OE damage 6. Damage due to no wrapping at all! (assuming some unknown "page width") 7. (Something else?) Possibly two or more of these combined. Often one has to *guess* how the original was supposed to look.
