[req] one-line rose [sig]

[req] one-line rose [sig]

alt.ascii-art · 6 messages · 7 Apr 1998 - 10 Apr 1998
I knwo I've seen a one-line rose in someone's sig, but I can't seem to
find it anywhere. Anyone know? Please: I need it soon, as I'm writing a
paper (for school) on ASCII art and need an example (that's a good
example, as it takes up almost no room on the paper and is nonetheless a
good example). It looked something like this -,-`-<@ but not quite and I'd
lie to see it exactly, with a citation (i.e., who made it). Thanks much.
Oh, and if the paper turns out at all good, then maybe I'll hotlink-ize it
and put it on the Web, and post the link here.

Lastly, although I know it's a little rude to ask this, please e-mail me a
copy. I _do_ read this group from time to time, but I would get the sig
faster via e-mail than here, and time is of the essence in this case. I'll
check here, too, though, in case someone just posts it here.

Next stop: Joan's sigs page!

Thanks much.

There are many variations of it.. the one you made is as good
as any... @>--'---,----'----
As for proper credits... good luck... so many people have
come up with this pic independently of one another, that
you would have a real difficult time with that. Why don't you
use a larger picture for your paper... a one-line thing like
that certainly won't be very impressive... maybe a 4 line
(I'll use a little sig here...check it out)..

That would be great! I'm sure we'd all love to see it!

Gee, I hope you find something there! :)
I just updated my homepage for April... 50K of new stuff.
some I have posted to the newsgroup... some I haven't...

It does look nice-- but on some systems, the tilde is in a
different spot... right now, in this reader, the tilde is at the
top of the line even with the apostrophe... on some
other fonts, it is in the middle... The hyphen is usually
always in the middle of the space, that's why this rose
is commonly seen that way-- more people recognize it
as such....

I still like this one the best. I draw it and don't know if others draw
it the same way or not. *S*

It is @>---'---,--- I think. I'm not sure though. I have no clue who made
it. If this is any help, let me know!
