3d alphabet

does anyone remember that program that converted text to 3d ascii art
characters?  what was it caled, gibblets or gimlets or something?
for the life of me, i can't seem to find it anywhere.

Surely, Figlet is the program you are looking for. There are a
few hundred of Figlet fonts available, in all kinds of styles,
(some are 3D, most are not).

For an occasional job you can surf all the way to
<http://www.inf.utfsm.cl/cgi-bin/figlet/service>
and get it easily done in a matter of seconds.

If you will use it frequently, you should probably download the
program and process your text offline.
