I've just learned that my 11-year old niece has discovered ascii art.
She passed these along to me:

Yes.. make sure you do put the hyphen in. Without it the site certainly
*isn't* kid-friendly.

My first ever ascii art was for a friend of mine's sig file, years ago,
pre-internet:)

It, too, is a butterly.  Unfortunately, it's about the best one I've
ever done, and despite alot of trials, I haven't been able to come close
to this one:)
