Banner Effects in 3-D

Here's a pretty cool banner converted from an image I created with a
3-D effect for lettering on a black and blue cloudy background. I was
amazed at how well the 3-D effects show up. The letters say Mars
Lasar in all caps with a Terminator 2 font. (Mars Lasar is a New Age
musician and I made a small banner for a web page (which I never got
around to making)). But I thought I'd post it here, since it's not
very big.
The second one is inverted, and I think it actually looks better as
far as clarity of the letters, but the 3-D effect isn't as pronounced.
:(
Unfortunately, what I see below is littered with what Agent thinks is
URLs due to the "@" character. So there's a lot of areas of text with
different colors on my end that you all probably won't see.
Although @ is the most popular color for denseness, what is the next
best character for dark or dense coloring? Would that be "#"?
