The extension .ANS was used as an aracnomin(sp) for ANSI type of file.
Really it could have been anything or nothing at all as you have to 
'type filename' on the computer to get it to work. Hope you enjoyed it!

 WOW, a long time since i've seen any ANSI files posted on here, You have 
any more?? :) BTW what ever happened to the proposed alt.ansi-art? I
