Announce: Converting TGA images to ASCII

I've written a Pascal program that converts 2-colour 640x350 TGA images into ASCII. It works by comparing each letter block with all of the letters and seeing which one fits best. It's in Turbo Pascal and would work on a PC; could be tricky to port because there are bits of assembler in it (it was v. slow before). You really need graphics workshop (grfwrk61.zip I think) to convert the images first though... it's very rough and ready but ifanyone's interested then mail me! -- +-------------------+-------------------------------------------------+ | /-- |_| /-- | (~ | "And the driving is like the driving of Jehu, | | \-- | | | | _) | the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously." | +-------------------+-------------------- Second Book of Kings 9 v20 -+
