My first posting here, with my second effort..the first being my
signature...done on an old Commodore..plain text only.  I have been
"lurking" in this newsgroup for a couple of weeks..fantastic stuff
here..and decided to give it a go.  Comments appreciated.

just a little tweaking... I liked your use of
characters... be careful of the extra spaces at the end
of lines... you had one line of many blank spaces.. that
can often lead to line-wrapping if there are too many of them...
here's my tweak:
