A New ANSI/ASCII Editor

Hi All,

Theoretically, I have never payed much attention to ASCII art, and was quite
presently surprised when dragged into it.  I am not an ANSI/ASCII artist, far
from it in-fact, I develop applications (Arrrgghhh, they all say!), well at the
moment I am developing a rather huge Internet application.  A friend of mine
suggested that I included a 'signature' file editor, as using 'NOTEPAD' or 
something of that ilk was tedious.  And so I began work on an ASCII editor.

After a week, I seem to have gone overboard with full ANSI support, a variety
of graphical effects and painting tools, with a beautiful Windows user inter-
face.  

I have now arrived at 'alt.ascii-art' to ask you ascii-conniseuers, a few
questions.  As I am trying to make this Internet package 'high quality', I see
no reason why the ANSI/ASCII editor should not be as polished as the main
application itself.

If anybody has any ideas on what they would like to see in an ANSI/ASCII editor,
then I shall try and implement them as best I can.  Also, when the editor is
finally completed, maybe some of you guys could draw up some pictures using it,
to go in the 'Examples' directory...
