Credit for .sig art?

What's the convention for giving credit for ascii art used in .sigs?
I don't want to use someone else's work and have people think I drew it, but
a .sig is a fairly small thing, so I don't really want to clutter it with
credits. (Also, I can't quite remember the name of the person who drew "my"
bear - although I'd probably recognise it if I heard it)
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
