And while we're at fake commercials, you should know the facts:

How did you get the knowledge of being the largest ascii art site?
Is it self-proclaimed?
You shouldn't burst out with phony facts just to bring visitors to your
site, which in fact was kinda good.

And one more thing, you should _always_ post the exact URL to
your ascii collection, not to your opening page.

BTW. All my Wicked Ascii Art troubles are over.
I renamed all the file-extensions to *.txt instead of *.asc
And now everyone should be happy!

I'll go back and look again... when I did look, I saw that the ASCIIs had
been
moved to another server and were not available at the moment...

I beg forgiveness... I visited the site again and found LOTS of ASCII
art!!
It is well-organized and nicely displayed.  I tried to go directly to the
ASCII page
and was not able to view the frames.  But when I went through the index
page
I was able to see them... go figure!  I'm no technical guru so I have no
idea as 
to why that happened... it even happened a couple times!
It is a nice site... I'm not sure if it is the "largest"- but it certainly
is NOT the
smallest.  It's worth bookmarking!

Actually, at the last _rough_ count, it came to about 8,000 pics, (I
have a lot of spare time).  So I round up a little! :)

Secondly, 'tis true my 'largest' title is self-proclaimed, and if you do
hold that
recognition, my apologies.  I should say that I never even meant to say
that I was the
largest :), I was going to put something different as the subject, but
as I was pressed
for time, my mental deliberation was else where.

Again I apologise.  I was unaware of this li'l quark ;}.
But in that case the _actual_ URl is
http://www.home.aone.net.au/kangaroo/ascii.htm

Since I have so much bloody ascii art, I haven't found one server that
can give me enough space... (I'm a cheapscate who looks for free
homepage sites :) as is I still have a few megs on my computer waiting
to be uploaded... my site will end up being split over 5 servers right
across the world :)

As long as these sites exist, ascii artists and users ought to be happy.
Superlatives as 'largest', and 'best' are fleeting.  Look at Scarecrow's
ASCII art website as an example.
