I have a question... why is it that all the ascii tables I tried always
display another character then what I actually get when I do alt + ###?

See I have to write a program for school (with ObjectADA 95)... it's
kind of like the Minesweeper game... So what I want to do is make a
board game with ascii characters and make the four corners so that it
creates a full line... But when I enter ALT + the Dec code for the
character, it shows some weird stuff like and not what I want...
Please help me someone

If you're trying to get DOS character set characters (Like those used in
DOS EDIT to surround the text editing area) under Windows, you'll have to
use a font like MS Linedraw or Terminal.

If you're just after special characters like those found in the character
map, you'll have to stick a '0' on the front of the Alt number

e.g. ae-dipthong = Alt+0145, not Alt+145 like in DOS.
