   Well, you can go to ftp.wwa.com and look in pub/Scarecrow/Gifscii and 
/pub/Scarecrow/Misc, and you'll find converters.

   But as to converting maps, I don't know how much luck you'll have on 
that.  Some things don't convert well.  Like things with lots of small 
detail, like maps and blueprints and such.

   Things that convert well are things like tight, big, close-ups of 
simple, single objects, and faces.
