99% of the ascii pics on this page are crap. Why bother sending shitey
ascii pics drawn by yourself. No one actually want these pics. Please
send realistic well dram ascii in the future.

First, thanks for the compliments. >:P

Second, if you're gonna call our ASCIIs "shitey" and not "well dram," at
least spell them right!

OK... instead of being a person of all words- be one of action: show us
an example of what you consider to be "good"... and clarify what makes a
picture "crap" or "shitty"... I'd like to know.

Dear friend,
I appreciate your concern for the quality of ASCII art these
days, and your worry that too much of the ASCII art being posted is
actually done by the writers of the posts. With all due respect, I
believe that the problem is exactly the opposite: Many people simply post
something from their collection, that's gone around the ASCII world
thirty times already. I also believe that the author of the art in
relation to the poster has nothing to do with the quality. In conclusion,
may you blow out your brains with a semiautomatic shotgun. I'd offer you
a more powerful weapon, but I'm afraid I have not studied guns!

Ember.

P.S. For those of you wondering, this is a sarcastic attempt at a
respectful letter. I know I sound like an 8-year-old.

Personally I think 99% of the stuff here is really ace. And I like looking at
stuff drawn by others....it's more interesting than things made by a program+
I admire people who can make such beautiful pictures with a bunch of letters +
stuff!!!!

Nobody actually wants these stuck up, badly spelt, badmouthing comments.
If you don't like what's on offer, then lead by example. We would all
have enjoyed your Coca-Cola art much more if you had said something
along the lines of:-

"Hey Guys, wouldn't it be neat if we all tried to do something like
this once in a while"

Never forget, that all people have different tastes. If all you want
is a piece of impressionistic art for a sig file, then why should it
be banned from these pages because it doesn't suit your taste?

Nice art BTW
