Getting back on the geek track a bit here. I always like to imagine
that if you ever break the license agreement on stuff, this would
happen.

No need to explain at all.  I completely got it.  But I would have
changed it to "You will void your warranty".  Once the Warranty is
voided there is no need for robotroops.

That's good, although I wasn't explaining the strip, I just stated what
I like to imagine when reading license agreements.

Hmm, maybe. I wasn't very satisfied with that line myself, but I couldn't
come up with a decent alternative. "You will void your warranty" doesn't
sound nearly as hostile. :\

Leaving it as "step away from the computer" would be good. Leaves the rest upto
the readers imagination. I think most geeks would get that :) At least, on the
second to last panel I already knew what was coming without reading it.

I once bought a multimeter. On the box it doesn't say "don't open the
box", it doesn't say "if you open the box", it says "when you open the
box" and it's not unfriendly, just helpfully reminding you to turn it
off first. I like the way they expect their customers to be intelligent,
curious people who know what they're doing.   :-)
