Personally, I would not mind at all if anyone colorized some of my work,
as I colorize alot of it myself when i transfer it to HTML. Just as long
as you keep the initials of the artist, I think very few people would
mind, actually. (but most of us just can't see the color posts on the
ns)

Don't post coloured ascii here. Put it on your homepage and show us the
URL instead. That way those who can see them can go there and enjoy them
and those who can't won't have to suffer the irritation of seeing them
here.

Just to add to Zeus's comments:
  I really like color ascii art like the kind that can b found at Joan's
or Veronica's (and others) sites.Some of them are extrodinary.
  I would like to see them in this ng ,but the convention is not to post
in html.You would probly get flamed for it and thats never nice.
  It would b nice if we came up with a convention like adding "[in
color]" to the end of the subject line to show that the sender
understands the conventions and that not to offend others has indicated
that his/her post is in html for those that can see it.
  I say this because some color ascii just doesnt look the same in black
and white,and it would be a shame for getting flamed for sharing some of
this nice material.Any votes?

Issue of ansi in sigs, Well, that a no vote. Reason, allot of people cannot
see ^[[31m as red. Also html, added color, let examine that.

Known:
Numbers of new readers that can read html: 2
         Netscape
         Internet Explorer

Number of news reader that cannot:
         slrn
         nn
         rn
         Agent
         NewXpress
         Free Agent

So Lets Do our:

    ________________
   |  ____________  |    |~~~~~~~~|
   | |  www       | |    |    === |
   | |@ o o @     | |    | [-----]|
   | | \ - /      | |    | O      |
   | |____________| |    |  o     |
   | -        ----  |    |     .  |
   ~~~~~)~~~~~~(~~~~     |--------|
  /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\   |--------|
And leave Html on the Web pages.
