I have information about a program that searches the entire usenet and retrieves articles automatically based on keywords. It also has many other features.  I don't want to offend anyone by  posting inappropriately, so I'm not identifying how or where to get it right now. 

 Would someone please tell me if it ok to post that type of information here. Please email me and identify your newsgroup if it is ok.

Well - if it has anything to do with ASCII Art then it is welcome.
If it is just some cool information about anything else then post elsewhere.
The people on Usenet have invented something called "newsgroup charta"
to define what kind of data/talk is welcome on a newsgroup - check it out!

And if you want to give us info about search engines like Lycos and Altavista -
this kind of stuff certainly belongs elsewhere and is better looked up at the
sites themselves.
